Bordeaux 2008 En Primeur

Bordeaux 2008 is a vintage like no other we have ever tasted and combines high levels of ripeness with incredible purity of fruit. The nearest comparisons are a cross between 2004 and 2006 but with the late harvest ripeness of 1988.

2008 saw the latest harvest ever in both the Left and Right Banks with some growers picking up until 24th October. Pauillac and Pessac-Léognan are the most consistent communes on the Left Bank with St Emilion and Pomerol equally successful on the Right. More than ever, success came to the châteaux who put in the hard work in the vineyard throughout the year and who made the right decisions at picking.
