Wine of the Moment

Every now and again the team in the shop will taste a wine that is too good to keep to themselves. This month Jasper Drew selects a white wine from the beautiful enclave of Collioure in Languedoc Rousillion, an appellation otherwise famed for its fortified wines, available from the shop at £16.95 per bottle.

2010 Cuvée Trémadoc, Domaine Madeloc, AC Collioure, Pierre Gaillard, £16.95

Lashings of Lemon, pineapple, hazelnut and honey-comb, all ending in a creamy yet clean finish. I can imagine myself drinking this with a rich shellfish dish, overlooking the pretty Collioure bay.
