It has been an interesting week in Bordeaux. Along with Berrys' UK Bordeaux buying team, I have visited 40 châteaux and tasted around 300 wines. In the words of Paul Pontallier of Château Margaux, 2008 is not a great vintage but a good vintage. Now we wait until the prices are released an hope they will be sensible.
