Wine Spectator's Top Scoring Bordeaux

Wine Spectator’s James Suckling descends on Bordeaux each spring to taste the new vintage from barrel and assess the quality and character of the young wines.

As they are unfinished, he scores the wines in four-point ranges (eg. 89-92 points) which indicate that the ratings are still preliminary. When the wines are released in bottle, further reviews take place and a final score is determined.
