Burgundy 2007 Overview

Our 2007 offer is as brimful of fine Burgundy as its predecessor, which helped win us the Burgundy Merchant of the Year award again at last year’s International Wine Challenge; when you work with talented growers, they tend to produce great wines.

As ever, our focus is on exciting and gifted producers, both those who are well-established and some who are newer to the scene. Two of our favourite vignerons appear in new guises this year: Benjamin Leroux and Nicolas Potel. Benjamin Laroux has been making brilliant wines at Domaine du Comte Armand since 1999 but from 2007 he is also producing a range of wines under his own label.

Nicolas Potel has made a similar move but in the opposite direction, supplementing his well known range of négociant wines with those of the brand new Domaine Potel.

Throughout this offer we suggest drinking dates for each wine which should be taken as indications only, as much will depend on your own preferences for enjoying wine in its youth or towards full maturity. Allocations are, as usual, limited, so please do not delay in placing your order.
