The Best of Burgundy 2008
The Burgundy 2008 harvest produced a range of exciting wines, esp. for the whites in Macon and in Chassagne-Montrachet, with concetrated aromatics and fruit. For the red wines, it has been down to the individual producer, some of whom have made impressive, powerful wines for long-term keeping while others are offering delicious, vibrant Burgundies that are excellent for drinking in the short term.
There has been no shortage of wines to recommend.
