The London Wine Show opens today
The London Wine Show offers visitors
the opportunity to try wines from all around the world in a fun and interactive
environment, in addition to featuring some of the UK's leading wine experts
including Oz Clarke, Matt Skinner, Susy Atkins, Tim
Atkin MW and Robert Joseph.
More than 800 wines from 17 countries will go on display today at Islington’s Business Design Centre attracting around 15,000 wine consumers to taste premium wines from around the world. A champagne bar, the Coutts Private Cellar and a tasting theatre will all also feature over the following three days.
According to statistics compiled by TastingBuddy, France is expected to dominate this year's show, accounting for 24% of the wines on display. Australia will play a distant second, accounting for just 14% of the total range. Portugal, Spain, Chile and New Zealand are all expected to make up around 10% of the wines on show.
