South Africa is a winemaking region that is becoming ever more popular the world over. As producers both established and new continually improve their wines, we're delighted to see more and more producers emerging as exceptional, from now famous regions such as Stellenbosch, Swartland and Roberton. We believe that South Africa's top examples deserve to be regarded as some of the finest wines in the world.

The differences between the grapes grown in South Africa and in more traditional Old World vineyards is very interesting to note. The warmer climes of South Africa help the grapes and wines mature faster, meaning that a relatively youthful Stellenbosch Cabernet can have the same depth and complexity as a claret that has been aged for several years. This opens the world of South African wines to a whole new level of appreciation.

To celebrate the arrival of the newest vintages of wines from Warwick Estate we've put together a collection of South African wines that we really feel are benchmark wines from this dynamic region, providing the best expressions of terroir and the grapes themselves. Names such as Constantia Glen, Oldenburg and Mullineux are fast becoming recognised as some of the finest South African wines available, and we are delighted to present them here.
