Manuel Cuevas Jurado

Don Manuel Cuevas Jurado, a grocery wholesaler, established this bodega in Sanlucar de Barrameda in 1950. Today the business is run by his grandson, Don Manuel Cuevas Galvez, and is the sole supplier of Manzanilla to Emilio Lustau which bottle and market it under their label.

The Cuevas family and their stocks of 2500 butts provide Manzanilla Fina, Manzanilla Pasada and the rare Manzanilla Amontillada de Sanlucar. These sherries are never less than exceptional and are probably the finest Manzanillas being produced today.
