Juan Garcia Jarana

Juan Garcia Jarana is a wealthy businessman who runs a successful motorcycle dealership in Jerez. His bodega, known as the Bodega del Algibe, is small and picturesque and was purchased by Garcia Jarana in 1979 from the Balbas de los Rios family who founded the bodega in the 19th century.

The quality of his sherries is well-known and his stocks include small soleras of Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez. Emilio Lustau selected the Pata de Gallina Oloroso back in 1989 and subsequently it has become one of the most distinctive and popular wines in the Lustau Almacenista range.
