Domaine Boudau
Boudau is a traditional family estate in the heart of the Roussillon
region, inland from Perpignan and Rivesaltes, on steep
slopes on classic argilo-calciare soils;
The domaine covers over 50 hectares, and is mainly planted with Grenache, Syrah and Carignan in the black grapes and Muscat petits grains and Muscat dAlexandrie in the white. It is owned by Véronique Boudau and her brother Pierre who took over the family estate in 1993.
The domaine owns plots of very old vine Grenache, vinified anaerobically to demonstrate the outstanding purity and richness of fruit achieved by this variety in the most southern vineyards of France.
