Ch. Belles Murailles
The vineyard of Ch. les Belles Murailles is set between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, just to the north of the city of Bordeaux. Owned by Michel Manaud and covering 23 hectares of clay-limestone soils, the vineyard is planted with Merlot (71%), which gives the wine bouquet and roundness, Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) which provides body, length and good ageing potential, Malbec (4%) and Petit Verdot (2%).
Vinified in the traditional Bordeaux method and matured in new French oak barrels for 12 months, the wine is ready to drink now or can be kept for up to three years.
