Schröder & Schÿler
Schröder & Schÿler was established in 1739 by Jean-Henri Schÿler, a trader from Hamburg, and Jacques Schröder and is on the Quai des Chartrons in Bordeaux. Today Yann Schÿler, representing the 8th generation, runs the firm.
The company owns châteaux all across Bordeaux, including Kirwan in Margaux and Fourcas Hosten in Listrac. It also buys in grapes from carefully selected growers and vinifies a wide range of wines.
Quality is consistently high and the firm is an excellent source of good value, quality clarets.
