C. Vienot

C. Vienot is a long-established Burgundy négociant house that is now owned by the giant conglomerate of Boisset, which also owns the négociants Jaffelin and Bouchard Ainé. Based in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the company has holdings in a number of vineyards in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation, with pride of place belonging to its holding in the Premier Cru, Clos de Corvées Pagets. It also has vineyards in Montagny in the Côte Chalonnaise and at Fixin in Beaujolais.

C. Vienot is run by Christophe Heymann and has a reputation for producing modern, sleek and elegant Red and White Burgundies that fully reflect their varietal and geographical origins. The firm's generic Burgundies are consistently amongst Burgundy`s best value buys.
