The Old Rip Van Winkle distillery is located in Louisville, Kentucky.  produces a range of Straight Bourbon and Rye whiskies.

Bourbons are aged a minimum of 10 years, much longer than the prescribed of 2 years typical of many other Bourbons, in charred mountain oak barrels. The process of long ageing and the use of charred barrels imparts the Van Winkle Bourbon with a rich and smooth flavour.
