Revello
The young and energetic Revello brothers made a dramatic entry onto the Barolo stage in the mid 1990s and are now recognised as amongst the very best of the current new wave Barolo producers. At the outset Enzo and Carlo were helped by the renowned oneologist Elio Altare but now they are on their own.
Initially they produced a single Barolo blend from the fruit of 3 vineyards - Rocche, Gattera, and Giachini, but soon they were bottling individual single vineyard Barolos. These are modern, sleek, elegant wines made with a shortish maceration period and an intelligently judicious use of oak.
