Eve & Michel Rey
Eve and
Michel Rey have developed their small domaine of 6 hectares in
Vergisson in Maconnais since 1988.
Slightly over half their production is Pouilly Fuissé from the commune of Vergisson. The grapes are hand harvested - a rare practice in the Maconnais- and the wine is fermented and matured in barrel over 12 to 18 months depending on the cuvee.
The best vineyards such as La Maréchaude are bottled separately. The Reys also own one hectare of Juliénas, Les Paquelets.
