Domaine Crios

Susana Balbao is a celebrated international winemaker, lauded by Robert Parker as one of the greatest talents in South America.

Located in the heart of Mendoza, in Argentina , with the snow-capped Andes in view, the vineyards which source the impressive Crios wine range are farmed organically and with natural irrigation.

Susana has forged a reputation for several grape varieties, her Torrontes the best known of the whites and the reds covering an impressive spectrum, with stylistic emphasis on both power and elegance.

The Crios is made up of up to 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance is Malbec and Merlot. The wines are exceptionally ripe plum and blackcurrant notes wrapping more complex savoury nuances to the initial descriptors of dark chocolate and vanillin.
