Enjoy the atmosphere of our candlelit vaulted Napoleon Cellar (Watch the virtual tour of the Cellars here). Think back to the 1800s when an older generation of the Berry family actually used to hide his friend, Louis Napoleon in the Claret butts where he plotted his return to France (and later became Napoleon III).

Take time to admire the historic artefacts belonging to Berry and Rudd families that show the development of the flagon to the first glass bottles for wine. Or perhaps just enjoy the art of relaxation whilst we offer you canapes and top up your glass.

There is a wine theme for each event and a new wine is poured after each half hour. A total of 3 - 4 wines are served in total and you finish with your favourite of the evening. A creative set of canapes, designed for the occasion by our Head Chef Stewart Turner,  is served throughout the evening.
