Schloss Saarstein

Schloss Saarstein produces some of the very finest wines in the Saar. It was purchased in 1956 by the Ebert family and is now owned and run by Christian Ebert. The 10 hectares of vines are perched on a steep sided bluff above the Bends of the Saar and produce steely wines with refreshing and zesty acidity.

Ebert crafts enticing fruit driven Kabinett and Spatlese wines that have marvellous poise and balance. He also produces an extraordinarily intense Eiswein.
