Von Heddesdorff

Freiherr Von Heddesdorff is a famous Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Estate which has a long and illustrious history stretching back as far as 1424. The current owner and winemaker is Andreas von Canal, who is a grandchild of the last Freiherr von Heddesdorff. There are 4 hectares of vineyards, all located on steep terraces on the lower part of the Moselle Valley.

The estate's best wines are its single vineyard ones, especially from the Uhlen, which is one of the steepest vineyards in the Mosel Valley, and from the Röttgen vineyard.
