Dr Pauly-Bergweiler
Bernkastel is a place to make the wine lover`s heart beat faster: a romantic town in the centre of the great Moselle vineyards.
Near the banks of the river is Dr Pauly-Bergweiler`s estate. The winery is ultra-modern, enabling the good doctor to control fermentation temperatures and speeds. This high-tech operation came into fruition when Dr Pauly made a working visit to California. So impressed was he with the procedures in place there, that he decided to build a Napa Valley-style winery in Germany.
His wines typically display intense-lime fruit with a vibrant, aromatic character and a clean, pure and crisp finish.
