Georg Stiegelmar

The Neusiedlersee is the most significant red wine making region in Austria and the best vineyards lie near Gols. Many of the red wines are made from the St-Laurent grape which produces deep coloured, rich velvety wines. Originally from Alsace this variety is now planted almost exclusively in Austria.

George Stiegel and his son Axel produce some of the finest St-Laurent based red wines in the country as well as a range of very high quality dry and sweet whites.
