Viña Paraíso
Until recently it was widely believed that Chile offered the best value in South America. That position is now being challenged, particularly by Argentina, and the Viña Paraíso range of wines bears testament to this. The wines are produced by the Arizú family, who are unique amongst the larger Argentinian wine producers, in that they only use grapes grown in their own vineyards.
The grapes for the Viña Paraíso range are sourced from the "El Paraíso" vineyard in Maipú County in the heart of the Mendoza region. The vineyard has been owned by the Arizú family since 1926. The Cabernet Sauvignon is the best wine in the range, with the fruit coming from vines with an average age of over 40 years old.
