I Mesi

"I Mesi"(meaning "The Months") refers to the life`s work of a 15th century Bohemian artist, Venceslao, whose frescoes can still be seen today in the Buonconsiglio Castle of Trento. These frescoes vividly record local Trentino customs and traditions through the 12 astrological seasons of the year.

The name has been adopted by Casa Girelli for its range of Trentino varietal wines and varietal grappas. The only red wine it produces is an aged Teroldego Rotaliano - teroldego is an indigenous grape that is grown almost exclusively in the Rotaliana valley in Trentino. It has been a DOC wine since 1971 and Casa Girelli produce one of the best examples in the region.
