Azienda Agricola Serafini & Vidotto
The Nervasa della Battaglia was originally a convent and is located in the district of Marca Trevigiana in the province of Treviso, in northern Italy. It was bought in the late 1980s by Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto who completely replanted the vineyards and renovated the old winemaking "cantina".
The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, as well as the local Prosecco. Single varietals are produced but Serafini & Vidotto are most renowned for their Bordeaux-style blend which is aged in new French barriques. The two blends, Rosso dell'Abrazia and Phigaia, are full-bodied, well-structured rich wines that ooze sweet blackcurrant fruits and spicy nuances. They are unarguably amongst the finest red wines in Veneto today.
