Osborns

Osborns Harwood is a family-owned and run winery located on the Mornington Peninsula, one of Victoria's premier wine growing regions. Frank and Pamela Osborn planted their first vineyard there in 1988 - today they have 6 hectares of vineyards(positioned on a protected North-facing slope) planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.

Frank Osborn drives the viticultural and winemaking sides of the business. Much of the work in the vineyard is done by son Guy Osborn and daughter Cindy, who is completing winemaking and viticulture studies, divides her time between the vineyard and the laboratory. Frank Osborn works closely with consultant wine maker Richard McIntyre and their winemaking techniques are strongly influenced by French practices and a desire for controlled experimentation, to ensure that the end product expresses the grape's varietal characteristics as faithfully as possible.
