Domaine Cordier
Domaine Cordier was founded in Burgundy in 1968, and currently has holdings of 26 hectares since the purchase of Domaine du Pâtissier, and is made from 90 different plots. They are starting to experiment with a biodynamic approach in some of these.
The domaine is currently managed by Christophe Cordier, who took over in 1987 along with his parents, who have since retired. Christophe also runs a négociant business which he founded in 2003.
This négociant business allows Christophe to specially select all his grapes from around various regions of the Mâconnais, resulting in Chardonnays that are voluptuous and yet subtle, with more than a hint of their oak barrique origins, and a clear minerality with notes of nuts and acidic fruits.
