Chateau Larose Trintaudon
Château Larose Trintaudon is a cru bourgeois property located in St-Laurent-Médoc in the Haut Médoc. Acquired by the Forner Brothers in 1965 this period in the Château's history marked a vast improvement in the quality of the wine produced, indeed prior to their acquisition the property was used for raising cattle for milk production.
The Forner Brothers hired the services of the renowned oenologist Professor Emile Peynaud and instigated an extensive replanting programe leading to the largest vineyard in the Médoc with 172 hectares of vines. The first commercial vintage was in 1975.
Subsequently the property was bought by the Assurances Generales de France (AGF) in 1986 who's significant investment together with the hard work of Christian de Gournay has resulted in the wine going from strength to strength.
