One of an increasing band of quality-conscious small Châteaux in the Médoc, giving themselves the title ‘Cru Artisan’. Essentially they are a group of self-promoting properties who trade on their small scale, artisanal credentials. Sadly not all are as rigorous in their approach as Ch. Micalet, which has been certified organic since 2009.
