Domaine Baron Thénard
"Thenard, my friend…..won`t you drink a glass of wine with me" - a key moment in Victor Hugo`s Les Miserables.
Domaine Barone Thenard, which is based in Givry, has one of the largest holdings in the famed Montrachet vineyard (1.83 hectares), as well as smaller holdings in Grands-Exchézeaux, Corton Clos-du-Roi, and Pernand-Vergelesses. The Domaine has close links to the negociant firm Remoissenet who bottle many of the wines under their own label.
