Oyster Bay
Oyster Bay is the export label for Delegats' high- quality Marlborough single varietals. The name derives from the local Oyster Bay, which is situated in the picturesque headlands of the Marlborough Sounds on the northern tip of the South Island. The first vines were planted in 1988 on shallow, stony soils in the Wairau Valley.
The Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc is richly aromatic and displays fresh, ripe melon and capsicum flavours on the palate. The Chardonnay, which is aged in oak for 6 months, displays concentrated aromas and ripe fruit characteristics underpinned by crisp acidity.
