Mount Difficulty
Central Otago is the worlds`s most southerly wine producing region. The climate is continental and the majority of the vineyards are on steep hillside slopes.
Mount Difficulty, which is the name of a prominent mountain in the region, was created in the late 1990s (the inaugural vintage being 1998) and is now one of the largest wine producers of the area. 60 hectares of vines are planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc
