Vachet-Rousseau Père et Fils
Gerard Vachet is the 4th generation of Vachets working the 7 hectares of vines in Gevrey-Chambertin. He de-stems all the stalks and gives the juice a maceration froide for around 6 days prior to fermentation. The wines are then matured in oak barriques, one third of which are new.
These are impeccably made wines that exhibit ripe concentrated fruit underpinned by elegant and soft tannins.
