St Supery Winery

St-Supery vineyards can trace its history back to 1881 - since 1986 it has been owned by the Skalli family (of French `Fortant' wine fame). Its prime vineyard is the 450 acre Dollarhide Ranch in the Pope Valley, a little known area of Napa which was heavily planted prior to prohibition and which St-Supery was one of the first to cultivate in modern times. Australian winemaker Michael Scholz (aided by guru consultant Michel Roland) produces one of California`s best Sauvignon Blancs and superb Cabernet Sauvignons as well as a wide range of other blends and single varietals.
