De Loach


Cecil De Loach, a San Francisco fireman, bought this property in Santa Rossa, in the Russian River Valley in 1969. He took a winemaking degree at Davis in 1971 and produced his first wines in 1975. A wide range of wines are produced and De Loach now has over 800 acres of vineyards. Today it is best known for it Zinfandels and specifically its 5 single-vineyard bottlings of Zinfandel, which are made from low-yielding old vines.
