De Bortoli
De Bortoli is a large family-owned winery, which is most famous for its remarkable botrytis Sémillon. The winery, which is located in Bibul in the Griffith region of New South Wales, was established by Italian-born Vittorio De Bortoli in 1928.
Today the company is run by Darren De Bortoli and the wines are made by Stephen Webber.
A wide range of wines is produced from their Griffith and Yarra Valley wineries, with the sublime Noble One, produced in tiny quantities, compared to their other large-scale productions, being arguably the greatest Australian dessert wine. Its dry botrytis Sémillons are also outstanding.
