Domaine des Coteaux de Cruix
Deep in the rolling hills of the Beaujolais, the town of Theizé is built on the
famous honey-coloured stone which is evocatively captured by
the 'Pierres Dorées' nomenclature, a charming region at
the heart of which is located Paul André Brosette's Domaine des Coteaux des
Cruix.
The Domaine dates from 1710; the Gamay is from old vines and the vinification is traditional, with whole-bunch fermentation lending colour and beautifully rounded red berry fruit flavours and aromas. Floral, seductive and wonderfully fruity, this is delicious Beaujolais, with a lick of pepper and black fruit to lend structure and length.

Pierre -André Brossette is one of our few suppliers who does not have to look up to my fellow buyers, Messrs Morris and Berry Green, as they are all somewhere around 6 ft 6 and upwards.. Unfortunately I have to look up to them all, rather as in that old John Cleese / Two Ronnies scetch. No ... MORE | ||||
