Cantine del Notaio

Cantine del Notaio was established in 1998 by Dr. Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti. He had a vision, born of a childhood memory to bring his grandfather's vineyards to fruition. After thirty years he "proudly recovered his roots", as he puts it, recuperating his grandfather's heritage and making it "the centre of his life".

With the support of Professor Luigi Moio of Naples University Gerado has hit the ground running and his inaugural wines from the 1998 vintage were received with great acclaim and wonderfully illustrate why Anglianico is now known as the Nebbiolo of the south.
