Château Montauriol

The terroir of Chateau Montauriol had five centuries of glory and winemaking panache. Like the whole of the area of Villaudric and Fronton, it once belonged to the Knights of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem and to the Abbey of Moissac. As early as the 12th century, its wines travelled in the carts of this order of soldiers.

Catherine and Nicolas Gelis purchased the property in 1998 (also owners of Château Ferran) and are retoring the reputation for quality that this vineyard deserves.
