H. Fessy

Henry Fessy is a vineyard owner, winemaker, and successful négotiant. In this latter capacity, he buys both grapes and juice from growers with whom he has established long-term relationships; vinifying and ageing these in his Bel-Air cellars.

His own, single-vineyard, wines bear the name of the vineyard from which they are issued. Examples of these include the Domaine du Plateau de Bel-Air and a Beaujolais-Villages wine called Domaine des 40 Ecus. His vineyards are densely planted (10,000 vines per hectare) and all are manually harvested.
