Domaine des Vallettes

Domaine des Vallettes is a 15 hectare domaine owned by Francis Jamet. François is the President of the growers` syndicate in St. Nicholas. He also owns 1.5 hectares in Bourgueil. The appellation of St. Nicholas de Bourgueil is now extremely fashionable in Paris bistros and restaurants and the same is beginning to happen in the UK.

Domaine des Valettes is a recent addition to our list and produces a deliciously ripe and well-balanced example from the appellation.
