Domaine Capion

Swiss Property magnate Adrian Buhrer purchased Domaine Capion in 1996. The property can trace its history back to the 16th century and is the immediate neighbour of the world famous Mas de Daumas Gassac.

Buhrer is also the owner of the renowned Saxenberg Estate in South Africa and winemaker Nico van de Merwe supervises the winemaking at both properties. It is extraordinary what Nico has achieved here in a very short period of time - he is already producing wines of terrific depth, concentration and complexity, which rival the very best in the region.
