Domaine des Perches
Back in 1989 Nicholas and Charlotte Fraser retired from London and moved down to the Gaillac Region of Southwest France. When they purchased Domaine de Perches which was run down and dilapidated yet the one thing in its favour was the aspect and situation of the vineyards.
The Frasers replaced about half of the vines, upgraded cultivation techniques and as result have continually made better wines year on year for the last ten years. They now produce a Sauvignon Blanc that is fresh, crisp and elegant and one that displays a wonderful purity of fruit.
