Bodegas Borsao

Bodegas Borsao is described by Robert Parker as "one of the world's greatest value-priced wineries". Bodegas Borsao was established in 1958, and is located 60 killometres north-west of Zaragoza. The vineyards, which lie between Mount Moncayo and the River Ebro at 420 metres above sea level and cover a total of area of 2000 hectares, are principally the autochthonous Garnacha, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mazuelo and Macabeo, and have an average annual production of five million kilos of grapes.

The combination of calcareous and stony soils, a continental climate, an average annual rainfall of about 400 litres and modern, well-equipped installations with over 600 American oak casks, all contribute to producing excellent quality wines.
