Domaine Prieur-Brunet

Domaine Prieur Brunet is based in Santenay and produce a very good range of both red and white Burgundies wines in the Côte de Beaune. The domaine can trace its history back to 1804 and is run today by the charismatic couple of Dominique Prieur and his wife Claude Uny-Prieur.

The whites are barrel fermented and barrel aged, with battonage (stirring of the lees) every 15 days and topping up of the barrels to avoid oxidation. The reds are made in a traditional manner with “pumping over” during the fermentation and ageing in Allier oak barrels.
