Domaine J.M. Maurice

Jean-Michel Maurice has 11 hectares of vines in Savigny-lès-Beaune from which he produces both red and white wines.

His best reds are aged in barriques, 25% of which are new, for 12-15 months and are then lightly fined and filtered before being bottled.

These are lively, stylish wines that are medium bodied, smooth and packed with plummy ripe fruit. They also possess good staying power.
