Château de Chamirey (blanc)

Château de Chamirey is owned by the Antonin Rodet négociant house and is located just outside Mercurey. This area produces the most full-bodied red wines of the Côte Chalonnaise and is a good searching ground for great value Red Burgundies that have complexity and depth. The red wines of Château de Chamirey are medium-bodied and exhibit ripe, red and black fruits encased in ripe, silky tannins.

The whites have a freshness, elegance and purity of fruit to them which make them very attractive in youth, although they will continue to improve for up to 5 years in bottle. This property has recently caught the attention of Robert Parker.
