Domaine Thomas-Labaille

Domaine Thomas-Labaille has vineyards which are situated on the incredibly steep foothills of Les Monts Damnés (considered to be Sancerres greatest vineyard site), and as a result, all the work in the vineyard is done by hand and it is this tradionalist philosophy which is continued in the cellar.

The soil is argilo/calcaire with a sprinkling of flint, and is said to impart the characteristic flavours of Sancere. Exclusion of yeast and absence of filtration ensures a Sancerre with purity of fruit and a classic structure.
