Denis Boussey
Denis Boussey is based in the village of Monthélie which is located halfway between Volnay and Meursault,
Boussey is the stereotypical Burgundian grower: welcoming, generous and weather-beaten, with a fine bushy moustache. His 11 hectare estate is split 1/3 white and 2/3 red, boasting a range of wines from Volnay, Meursault and Puligny, as well as some fabulous Monthélies of both hues, for which he is particularly renowned. In charge of this domaine since 1981, he makes vins de plaisir that are fresh and fruity with a distinct feminine finesse.
